It is the new circadian friendly smart light<\/b> project developed in collaboration between Pollice illuminazione and Be Sapiens S.r.l., the Milan-based team of chronobiologists, oncologists, cardiologists and technology transfer experts who study and develop ideas and solutions for health. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The project is the result of important studies on the effects of light on our organism, which have emerged from long experience in lighting design and lighting design and in medical science and hospitals. At the theoretical basis is Chronobiology<\/b>, the revolutionary science that studies periodic or cyclical phenomena in living organisms and their adaptation to relative solar rhythms. <\/p>

Understanding the mechanisms that regulate the biological clocks of humans and other living things offers the key to opening up innovative paths in the lighting industry as well.<\/p>\n

The realization that light is no longer just a matter of well-being, of seeing and reading things correctly, but is the possibility of substantially improving our lives and taking preventive action on our health, has led us to believe that this discovery can represent a new vision for institutions, companies and individuals on the role of light as a key component in the design or renovation of an environment and the effects it can have on our health, productivity and emotionality<\/b>.<\/p>\n

The patented Clever light<\/b> system is able to control the wavelength and intensity of light produced in the environment according to the time of day, season and latitude, taking into consideration other light sources: windows, lamps, colored walls, reflective surfaces, so as to maintain the perfect alignment of our biological clock with circadian rhythms<\/b>, for a Human Centric Lighting<\/b> design and, in this case, also Life Centric Lighting.<\/b><\/p>\n

Clever light<\/b> is a system consisting of a control unit and a spectrophotometric sensor that can accurately detect the light spectrum of the environment. Informed of this, the control unit will operate a counter reaction by acting through the light it controls, as a melatonin inhibitor, when necessary for the proper performance of our activities. <\/p>\n
